Getting Started as a Provider

HelpmApp empowers organizations supporting those in need. By claiming and managing your service, you ensure vulnerable individuals have accurate, real-time information about your support.

Service Provider Pilot (2026) We are currently processing priority enrollment for service providers in the Richmond Upon Thames borough. Potential pilot expansions are also slated for Ealing and Hammersmith as part of our three-borough service provider enrollment initiative.

Step-by-Step Onboarding

1. Create a User Account

  1. Visit helpmapp.org/login
  2. Sign up using your email or Google account
  3. Verify your email if required

2. Register Your Service

Once logged in, you can register your organization:

  1. Navigate to helpmapp.org/provider/register
  2. Search for your existing service OR create a new one
  3. Fill in your organization details:
    • Organization Name (official name)
    • Your Role (e.g., Manager, Coordinator)
    • Contact Email (for verification)
    • Organization Website (optional but recommended)
    • Logo URL (optional - use your organization's logo)
  4. Submit your application

TIP

If your service is already listed, you can "claim" it directly. This speeds up verification.

3. Verification & Approval

Our admin team will review your application:

  • Turnaround: Usually within 24-48 hours
  • Verification: We check your affiliation with the service
  • Notification: You'll receive an email notification when your account is approved.

4. Access Your Dashboard

Once approved, you'll see new options in the navigation:

  1. Go to helpmapp.org/provider/dashboard
  2. Your assigned services appear in the dashboard
  3. You can now:
    • ✏️ Edit service details (name, description, address)
    • ⏰ Update opening hours
    • 📸 Add your organization logo
    • 📊 View analytics and check-in data

Maintenance & Stability

The HelpmApp platform is maintained with the assistance of an automated Lead Developer Agent. This ensures that the registry remains high-quality and that any technical issues are resolved rapidly. If you encounter any anomalies in your dashboard, please reach out to our support team.

Managing Your Service

Editing Details

  1. From the dashboard, click on your service
  2. Click Edit Service
  3. Update any field:
    • Description (in our "Swiss Social Realism" style)
    • Address & location
    • Contact information
    • Opening hours (use the visual editor)
    • Social media links
    • Logo

Opening Hours Editor

Our visual editor makes it easy to set hours:

  • Toggle days open/closed
  • Set split shifts (e.g., 9am-12pm, 2pm-5pm)
  • Save and your hours appear on the public listing

Viewing Analytics

Your dashboard shows:

  • Check-ins - How many users visited via HelpmApp
  • Views - How often your service is viewed
  • Trends - Daily/weekly patterns

WARNING

Analytics require user engagement. If you're not seeing data, encourage users to check in when they visit.
