Admin Guide
Welcome to the HelpmApp Administration Console guide. This section covers the "Mission Control" features available to platform administrators.
Dashboard & Analytics
As of Phase 61 (February 2026), the Admin Dashboard provides real-time observability into the platform's health.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Total Users: Number of registered citizens.
- Active Providers: Organizations actively managing one or more services.
- Live Services: Verified and searchable services available to the public.
- Total Check-ins: Cumulative engagement actions recorded across the network.
Engagement Charts
The dashboard features interactive charts to track platform usage:
- Check-in Trends: A 30-day rolling window of service utilization.
- Search Volume: (Beta) Tracking keyword and category demand.
User Management
Provider Promotion
When promoting a user to the PROVIDER role:
- Navigate to User Management.
- Select the user and change their role to PROVIDER.
- Automatic Creation: The system instantly creates a
Providerprofile for them using their name and email. - No Manual Entry: You do not need to manually create a provider record first.
Service Assignment
Admins can link existing services to Provider accounts during onboarding:
- Navigate to User Management.
- Locate the Provider.
- Click "Assign Services" (Briefcase icon).
- Search and select the service to link.
This grants the Provider immediate editing rights to the selected service.
Intelligence (Service Gaps)
The Intelligence Tab provides real-time analysis of service coverage versus demand.

Key Features
- Service Deserts: Automatically identifies boroughs with low service density relative to homeless population.
- Gap Analysis: Compares active services against government poverty statistics (Statutory Homelessness, Temporary Accommodation).
- Unmet Demand: Tracks failed search queries to pinpoint what users are looking for but not finding.
Insights (Strategic Reporting)
The Insights Tab helps operational teams demonstrate impact and secure commissioning.

Strategic Reporting Features
- Monetization Hub: Identifies high-value commissioning leads based on service usage patterns.
- National Context: Benchmarks platform performance against UK-wide crisis metrics, incorporating MHCLG 2024 regional assessments (354,650+) and Trussell Trust distribution stats (2.9M+ parcels).
- Social ROI: Calculates the estimated social value generated by platform connections using treasury-grade impact models.
